Board structure and Advisory Committees

Advisory Committee opportunities are listed below. These Committees help Destination: Art function smoothly and efficiently, with groups of smart people who know a lot about a topic area and/or are interested in getting involved to make a difference. There is at least one Board member on each Committee. By volunteering for an Advisory Committee, you will be contributing to Destination: Art’s future in a major way!

Please email us the Committee names of which you’d like to be a part, along with your name and phone number, at localartists@destination-art.net. It’s always helpful to consider joining more than one Advisory Committee in case your first choice is already at capacity.

Destination: Art is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, and community hub for art serving South Bay LA. We opened our doors in 2014, with the unique combination of artists’ studios and a gallery. We average 40 classes and workshops per year with renowned local and international instructors. Three community outreach programs offer art experiences to the public: FRIENDS of Destination: Art in partnership with the Autism Society of LA; Creative Conversations with key opinion leaders on creativity in business and careers; and Art 4 Everyone for those who think they are not artistic. There are six exhibitions annually. For more information, explore our website.
